Good blesses us in several ways, go figure!

October 20, 2011 1:27 pm

Jerome Harrison, RB DETNews: ESPN reports that a brain tumor was discovered when Jerome Harrison underwent a physical as part of the process after he was traded to the Eagles at Tuesday's NFL trade deadline. On Wednesday, it was reported that the deal was voided because Harrison failed a physical.Analysis: The failed physical turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Harrison, who was unaware of the tumor. His status going forward has yet to be determined, but it is clear he has more important matters to deal with than football. In his absence, Keiland Williams is likely to see more carries behind Maurice Morris. Jahvid Best is likely to miss Sunday's game (and possibly more) with a concussion.

Raider Hater Fans Back In Action

October 20, 2011 1:24 pm

Remember the wonderful years when the Raiders was the only Divisional Team we really hated?  Then the Denver Broncos had that back to back stretch of Superbowl runs?  After Elway retired the San Diego Chargers took over and began thumping our butts with Phillip Rivers, L.T. and company?  Well Raider Haters are back in full swing and ready to take on McFadden and Palmer or Boller.  Hopefully it's Boller because he sucks and then again hopefully Palmer.  They say he needs to knock the rust off, well I'm sure we have plenty of players licking their chops to do just that!  Would even be better to put him on his back and so many times he wonders why he came back into the NFL.  Bottom line is Boller or Palmer, who cares.  Raider Nation is on a divisional win streak dating back to last year.  It needs to be broken this Sunday!!  Al Davis you were truly a god father of this game, however its probably better for you not to see this weekends game.  Chiefs are gonna bring it hard and strong.

Can chiefs go back to back?

May 22, 2011 1:03 am

I believe we can although we have a tougher schedule this year than last! I thought we had a great draft!! Baldwin and houston should give us immediate help and the lineman from FSu should push for playing time as well. when ever free agency starts if we could add a few more pieces we should be tougher then last year!!

AFC West Smackdown

January 25, 2011 6:10 am

Alot of fans from the AFC West Teams come on to the Kansas City board and talk about how sorry we are and were just a fluke. Well before you talk crap check out some stats. This is a the number of the AFC West Teams palyers and coaches who made the Football Hall Of Fame.
Oakland - 20
Kansas City - 14
San Diago - 11
 Denver - 5
So before cutting down the Chiefs you should get some facts to back up your smack. The Chiefs have the players to one day soon pass up Oakland. But you Denver Fans, I'd be embarrassed to post something on your own board. Oakland has the lead because they had more Hall Of Famers Tranfer to there team before retirement and there Owner was on the list 2 or 3 times.

Haley/Cassel Needs to Go!

January 25, 2011 5:17 am

The more i watch and see the things Haley does the less i like the guy. The simple fact that we cant get and keep a decent Offensive Coordinator is a tall tell sign. He has a ego thats to big for a unproven coach. Weis chose to coach the same job at COLLEGE level than to coach with haley again. I hate to say it but he has proven squat. We barely made the playoffs against the weakest schedule in the NFL. Then we do make the playoffs and we get our faces pushed in  after the 2nd have were rumors swirl Haley took over play calling. He is a hot head and rubs players the wrong way.
As for Cassel i think we need to cut our losses and go on. The guy makes to much money to still be so bad. I know he had one great year and make it 2 if you count the patriot season. Only problem is outside the NE offense which he ran here and there he cant play at all. They have to simplify it down just for him to be any good. He locks on to wideouts still really bad and does not make great reads. I like his ability to scramble here and there but thats about it. Against anyteam that had a good defense he played like CRAP. His best game was against a POOR bronco defense and guess what we still lost. How do you throw for over 460 yards but score 21 points? He was a backup in college to Matt Leinert for petes sake. He is a good number 2 not a number 1 qb. We gotta cut the fat and draft a real qb.
